Sending Documents in Path

Did you know you can easily email documents directly from your Path software? 

To email documents:

• Open a loan and select the Documents tab and click on the row of documents you want to access
• On the Document Details screen, you’ll see the document’s name, category, and type
• Click Email and then Send Document box will appear. Enter the recipient’s email, the subject, and message as if sending an email from your regular email software
  • To encrypt the document, select the Password button and enter the password, otherwise, select no password
  • If you added note(s) to the document and want to include the note(s) in the email, select the Include Notesin Download check box
• To add more documents to the email, click Add from documents to the Document Management List box

Compliance Update

The Treasury Department and FHFA recently announced that they are suspending certain restrictions that were added in January to the Preferred Stock Purchase Agreements (PSPAs) between Treasury and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Specifically, Fannie Mae had restricted its acquisition of loans secured by second homes and investment properties to 7% of its total single-family acquisitions and applied stricter underwriting to those loans; now that restriction has been rolled back.
